Shine is a barista training run by a charity, Shepherd's Star, for those experiencing isolation and worklessness, enabling them to explore options towards employment within the hospitality industry whilst building their skills and confidence.

What is Alpha

Life is better together. Alpha brings together people from all walks of life who are curious about faith. Each session starts with some time to eat, relax and get to know your group.

Alpha

The course runs over eight weeks – you can just try the first one and see what you think. Everyone’s welcome and there's no pressure, follow up or charge.

Connect

Each session you’ll have the opportunity to meet other people with questions just like yours.

Watch

You will then watch a 25 minute film together that’s designed to inspire questions.

At the end of each session there’s an open discussion where you can share your thoughts in small groups
